Winter in Talkeetna
Stay in one of our cozy log cabins, nestled in the midst of 60 wooded acres, off the busy tourist trail. Enjoy the comfort of our heated cabins which present: wood crafted full-sized bunks, linens, towels, propane cook stove and propane lights, all cooking equipment, table, and sofa chairs.

During the winter months (October through March) we are open only on Friday and Saturday evenings. Group reservations are available upon request for nights other than Friday or Saturday.

What is there to do in winter Paradise?
 

  • Snowmachining: Many trails in the area are accessable just minutes from the lodge.
  • Cross Country Skiing: Be sure to bring your skis!
  • Flightseeing: We can help you make reservations.
  • Hiking: Hike around the cabins or to the lake.
  • Dog mushing: Ridees and lessons are available by appointment.
  • Winter Interpretive and Interactive Program: Your instructor lived in ANTARTICA for 11 months of the year for 6 years and is an expert in winter survival techniques and living in extreme cold weather climate. The interpretive program may be comboned with dog mushing or an instructional program specifically designed to your personal requirements.
